Here is what is new.
Reporting
A Rebuilt Reporting Experience
Build it. Explore it. Share it with confidence.
Reporting now gives you and your team far more flexibility to see what matters. Build report pages with drag-and-drop layout and resizable visuals, choose from new chart types, add formatted text anywhere on the page, apply page-level filters, and organize everything across multiple tabs. A better filter builder with improved grouping makes it easier to get exactly the data you need.
Dashboards become something you can act on, and not only something you look at. Select a value within a chart to see the records behind it and open them directly. Set goals on KPI tiles to see how your team is progressing against the targets that matter most.
What is included
New chart types, text, and headline figures. Pyramid and Donut charts join the lineup. Text elements let you label a dashboard without a separate document. New headline figures show activities logged, workflow items created, and Contacts created at a glance, and each can be tied to a KPI goal.
Drill into your data. Select a value to see the records behind it. Select Other to expand it.
Goals and comparisons on KPI tiles. Single-number tiles can show a caption, a goal, a desired direction, and a comparison to the prior period. When lower is better, such as time to fill, the direction displays correctly. You can also add goals and trend lines to individual charts.
Export anywhere. Export a single chart or an entire page to PDF, PNG, CSV, or Excel.
Easier to read, in print and on screen. New color themes, gradients, and fill patterns keep charts clear in print and for people with color blindness. New single charts now default to the modern style with gradients, and you can change the style on any chart.
Drill-downs and KPI goals are available on Business Plus and higher.
Report Ownership and Safer Sharing
Share reports with the right people, in the right way.
Each report can now have a designated owner. Share a report as read-only, give editing access to the people responsible for maintaining it, and let everyone else save their own copy without changing the original. Admins can see a list of unshared reports, with reports that have no owner listed first. Report owners can also lock the quick filter so that users without editing access see only their own data.
This update came directly from your feedback.

More Consistent Data and Correct Time Zone Handling
Numbers you can trust, in the period where they belong.
Reports now follow your time zone. Date ranges use your user or organization time zone, including daylight saving time, so revenue, placements, custom date fields, and scheduled reports land in the correct period. We made several other improvements to help you trust your numbers:
Reports can now include more of your data. When a report has more values than it can display, it keeps the largest ones.
When a report cannot load its data, you now see a clear error message instead of a zero.
Inactive and deleted owners are handled consistently, and you can choose to group or hide them.
Because records now fall into the correct period, you may notice small changes in historical counts. If a number moved, a record that previously landed in the wrong period is now counted in the right one.
Available to everyone.
Embedded Dashboards
See your recruiting data and your business data side by side.
Admins can now display a dashboard from another product as a report page inside Crelate, such as billing, payroll, or payables information. Embedded dashboards are off by default, and Admins choose which products are allowed to display. Users sign in to the other product separately to view its data.
Available on Business Plus and higher.
Reporting and AI, Working Together
Exact answers and new ideas, each where they work best.
AI assistants can answer questions about your data, and many teams are using them to explore new ideas. Reporting does a different job, and the two complement each other.
Ready for everyone on your team. Reports live in Crelate, so recruiters, managers, and operations leaders can open the same view without connecting or configuring anything.
Exact answers when you need them. Reporting is built on your actual records, so a count, a total, or a goal is precise. Use reporting when you need a definitive number, such as placements for the quarter, and use AI when you want to explore a question you had not thought to ask.
Recurring insight, built into the system you already use. The numbers you check every week or month belong in one trusted place, with owners, sharing, and scheduling. AI is a strong partner for the questions that come up in between.
Search
The Crelate Search Assistant
Find the people you already know, even when you cannot remember the exact words.
Searching your own database just got easier. When you run a Boolean search, the new Search Assistant suggests related job titles to broaden a search that is too narrow, and relevant skills to narrow a search that returns too many people. You and your team can discover more relevant candidates already in your database without building increasingly complex Boolean searches.
Search Assistant is on by default and replaces the Semantic Search beta for accounts that had access to it. You stay in control, and Admins or individual users can turn it off at any time.
Search or Discover?
Two ways to find talent, each built for a different job.
Search looks through the records already in your database. If a term appears there, Search reliably returns it, so it is the right choice when you remember a specific word or phrase, or when you need a complete count.
Discover finds people who closely match what you describe, even when the exact words differ, and it draws on Crelate’s proprietary dataset of skills, titles, and keywords. It is the right choice when you want to find people you would not otherwise have found.
If you know the term you are looking for, use Search. If you want to find people you have not met yet, use Discover.
More Ways to Filter and Search
Build sharper follow-up lists and search in more places.
Call and text activity filters. Outbound Call, Inbound Call, and Text Conversation are now available in the Past Activity filters in Advanced Find and Search. Use them to build follow-up lists, or exclude people you have contacted recently.
UK postcodes and towns. UK postcodes and town names now work in addresses and search filters, including radius search. Previously, only US and Canadian locations were supported.
Jobs Portal
A Faster and More Accessible Jobs Portal
Load faster. Apply easier. Get found.
Give candidates a faster, smoother experience when they view and apply to your jobs. Candidates move on quickly when a page is slow, so every second matters, especially on mobile and slower connections.
Faster loading. Portal pages are about 97 percent smaller, and the embeddable jobs widget is about 90 percent smaller. Your job opportunities load faster across devices and connection speeds, with nothing for you to change.
Better search engine visibility. The SEO settings on a Job, including the description and keywords, now work as expected. Your job postings also include additional signals designed to help search engines better understand and surface your content.
A refreshed, more accessible design. Forms, buttons, spacing, hover states, and mobile layouts have a more modern look. The application experience also received a full accessibility pass covering keyboard navigation, screen readers, focus order, validation messages, link labels, contrast, and page structure, so more candidates can navigate and apply. Custom styling is not affected.
Privacy and Compliance
Enhanced Privacy and Compliance Tools
More control for your team. Clearer choices for candidates.
You now have greater flexibility over how privacy and compliance information is collected and managed in Crelate.
Compliance surveys. EEOC, Section 503, and VEVRAA surveys can be enabled independently, so your organization configures only the options that apply to it. Candidates provide their own responses to disability, veteran, and consent questions, with no answers preselected. Whether compliance questions appear now depends on the country set on the Job. Disability and EEO wording has been updated across the Jobs Portal, Indeed screening, and Employee Portal onboarding, and organization names now display correctly in EEOC text. Admins can also customize the consent landing page, the accept text, and the revoke text. Compliance surveys are available to everyone.
Privacy requests. Candidates can choose from nine plainly worded privacy rights, including deletion and do not sell or share. The updated request form confirms when a request is accepted and lets candidates try again after an error. On your application forms, consent appears as a clear Yes or No above your organization’s terms, and Admins can write their own text on each consent page.
Your team also gets a more usable way to manage requests. In Settings, the renamed Privacy Requests area lets staff search by common privacy terms, see every request type, copy the message, export requests, and open completed requests. All of these pages also include accessibility improvements.
If your organization is a federal contractor, we recommend reviewing your compliance settings following this release to make sure they are configured appropriately. All organizations will benefit from a review as good practice.
AI Agents
AI Agent Updates
Bigger results. Faster follow-through.
More accurate exclusions with “not.” When you ask the Discovery Agent to leave something out, it now follows your meaning. Previously, a request such as “a developer who knows Java but not .NET” could add .NET to the search instead of excluding it. Words such as “not” and “and not” before a skill or title now exclude it, which helps most when your searches use Boolean-style phrasing.
Larger result sets. Results expand from 200 to 400 records. Available for clients with an AI Package.
Select multiple records. Select several records at once, then act on them together, such as adding them to a Job or list. Available for clients with an AI Package.
Ask before clearing filters. If you type a name while filters are applied, the Discovery Agent now asks whether you want to search within your current results or start over. Previously, typing a name could clear every filter without warning.
PDFs by default. Talent Assistant now generates a PDF by default.
Enrichment improvements. Enrichment now works on more records than before, so more of your Contacts can be updated with a phone number or email address.
Discover My Data (Beta)
Beta. Available to select organizations at this time. If you would like to request access, please contact your Account Manager or Crelate Support.
Rediscover the candidates already in your Crelate database.
Bring the power of Discover to the talent you already have. With Discover My Data, you can search your existing Contacts using the same natural, plain-language prompts you use when searching for external talent. Turn on the Search only my contacts toggle in Discover, describe the person you are looking for, and Discover surfaces matching people your team has already sourced, connected with, or added to your database.
This is especially helpful in larger databases, where people you have already sourced can be hard to find again without the exact keywords. You can rediscover existing talent and uncover potential matches without starting your search from scratch.
Discover My Data searches Contacts only, and the quality of your results depends on the quality of the Contact data in your database. We welcome your feedback as we continue to refine this experience.
Client Portal
Customize the Name of Your Client Portal
Make the portal speak your clients’ language.
Admins can now change what the Client Portal is called, such as Hiring Manager Portal, and what you call the people you share it with, such as Hiring Manager. Your team and your clients will see these names throughout the portal.
To customize your Client Portal names
Open Settings.
Under Portals, select Client Portal.
Under Portal Name, enter a Display Name and a Plural Name. Leave these fields blank to use “Client Portal.”
Under What do you call your customer?, enter a Display Name and a Plural Name. Leave these fields blank to use “Client.”
Admin and Organization Improvements
Less cleanup. More control.
Delete multiple documents at once. Select and delete several documents from grid or tile view on Contacts, Companies, Jobs, and Placements. Protected documents are skipped and flagged rather than failing silently.
Export from more places in Settings. A clearly labeled Export button now appears across Settings, including Tags, Tag Categories, Email Templates, Privacy Requests, Users, and Manage Duplicates. Exports respect your filters.
Filter Users by license type. Filter by Standard, Employee, Billing, or Other.
MCP and API Updates
Recent MCP server and API v3 improvements, shaped by feedback from early users, are covered in a separate article.
Change to the default API page size. List endpoints now return 100 records per request by default, up from 50, and the most you can request in a single call rises from 100 to 200. If your integration sets a limit, nothing changes. If it relies on the default, please review it or set limit=50 to keep the previous behavior.
Available on Business Plus and higher.
