Why Compliance?

Crelate’s Business subscription gives you tools to help with your compliance, including Privacy Requests and EEOC and VEVRAA compliance surveys. Requesting consent and gathering EEOC and VEVRAA information is an easy, seamless process that you can manage entirely within Crelate.

Privacy Requests and pre-hire compliance surveys are available on Business and higher plans. Post-hire compliance surveys require the Hire module.

Privacy and consent tools let you request consent from contacts directly within Crelate, and store and manage privacy requests in one place. These tools support regulations such as the GDPR in the EU and UK and the CCPA/CPRA in California.

You can send a consent request to a contact by email right from their record.

Contacts respond on a consent page where they can accept or reject your organization’s terms. Admins can customize the consent page, the accept text, and the revoke text. On your application forms, consent appears as a clear Yes or No choice above your organization’s terms.

Candidates can also submit privacy requests, choosing from nine plainly worded privacy rights, including deletion and do not sell or share. Your team can manage these requests in Settings | Compliance | Privacy Requests, where you can search requests, see every request type, export requests, and open completed requests.

Compliance Settings let you present voluntary EEOC and VEVRAA self-identification surveys to applicants after they apply through your Jobs Portal for Jobs located in the United States, and to new hires during Employee Portal onboarding. You can then view survey responses in the built-in Compliance report in Reports (previously named EEOC), as well as on each contact record.

To view a contact’s survey responses, open the contact, select the This Contact dropdown, then select Compliance Details.
