Crelate Support Account Assumption

Written by Crelate Support
Updated this week

Crelate provides the ability for support representatives to assume account access. This is used strictly for the purpose of decreasing response times and allowing for a more thorough account investigation. If you are requesting help from Crelate Support, they may ask you to temporary re-enable this setting to accelerate the handling of your support request.

This access is limited, revocable, and must be enabled by an account admin.

  1. Log in as an Admin User: Ensure you are logged in with an account that has admin privileges.

  2. Navigate to Security Settings:

    • Go to Settings in the main menu.

    • Select Security and then Advanced Security.

  3. Enable Support Access:

    • Locate the option for Crelate Support Access or similar (e.g., "Enable Account Assumption").

    • Toggle the option to enable temporary support access.

  4. Save Changes: After enabling the option, ensure you save your changes to apply the update. Once temporary support access is enabled, notify the Crelate Support team so they can proceed with troubleshooting. This step ensures that Support is aware of the access and can begin their investigation promptly. Temporary support access can be disabled at any time by following the same steps above and toggling the access option off. Be sure to save your changes after revoking access.
