Why do I keep getting logged out, or see "Active Session Limit Reached"?

Stop repeated log-outs and clear the Active Session Limit Reached message when you sign in to Crelate.

Fix "Active Session Limit Reached" when you sign in

Crelate limits how many devices can be signed in to one user at the same time, and this section shows how to get back in when you reach that limit. The default limit is 2.

When you sign in on a new device and the limit is reached, Crelate shows Active Session Limit Reached and lists your other sessions.

  1. Select Log out all other sessions and continue to sign in here and end the others.

  2. Select Cancel this login attempt if you do not want to sign in.

Choose promptly. The sign-in times out after a few minutes of inactivity and returns you to the sign-in page.

Stop being logged out while you are working

If Crelate logs you out while you work, a message on screen tells you why. If you see Duplicate Login Session Detected or Session Expired, another sign-in with your credentials ended your session. Each person should use their own login. Sharing one login makes people sign each other out.

Contact Support if your team needs a different limit.
