Crelate’s Premium AI Resume Parser makes it easier than ever to turn resumes into clean, ready-to-use Contact records. Using AI, Crelate automatically extracts relevant candidate information from resumes, helping you save time and reduce the need for manual data entry.
The Premium AI Resume Parser is available both directly in Crelate and through the Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant, giving you flexible options for adding candidates to your database.
Importing Contacts with the Premium AI Parser
To import a new Contact from a resume in Crelate, select the three-line menu at the top of the left navigation bar, then navigate to Import → Import Contacts (upload resume).
When importing Contacts using a resume upload, you can select the Premium AI Parser as your preferred parsing option.
Note: When using the Premium AI Parser, your available AI credits will be used. You can view your remaining available parses by hovering over the information icon in the parser selection area.
Upload the resume file, and the Premium AI Resume Parser will automatically extract relevant candidate information and populate it into the appropriate Contact fields.
Review the information populated by the parser and make any necessary updates. When you are ready, select Save Contacts to add the new Contact directly to your Crelate database with their AI-parsed information.
A More Complete View of Every Candidate
The Premium AI Resume Parser does more than populate Contact fields. Along with the original resume, Crelate creates a comprehensive Living Resume that brings together the candidate's full employment and education history in one place.
The Living Resume also includes valuable Contact Insights, helping you quickly identify important details such as:
Career progression, including role and level changes
Gaps in employment
Education and employment history
Other meaningful insights that help provide a clearer picture of the candidate's experience
This gives you a more complete view of each candidate and makes it easier to quickly understand their background as you review resumes and identify the best fit for your opportunities.
Want to make AI parsing your go-to option? Update your Resume Parser Settings to set the Premium AI Parser as your default. Once enabled, it will be used for both resume imports within Crelate and resumes emailed into your database.
To enable the Premium AI Parser as your default, navigate to Settings > Advanced > Resume Parser and turn the Visibility option to On. From this same area, you can also configure additional settings for the Premium AI Parser to customize how it works with your resume imports.
Once you have enabled the Premium AI Resume Parser, you can customize additional settings to control how candidate information is parsed and added to Contact Records.
Visibility – Controls whether the Premium AI Resume Parser is enabled and allows you to set it as the default parser for applicable resume imports.
Parse Full Employment History and Parse Education History – Control whether the Premium AI Resume Parser extracts the candidate's complete employment and education history. Disable either setting if you do not want that information included during parsing.
Normalize Company Names, Job Titles, and Degrees – When enabled, the Premium AI Resume Parser standardizes these values using common naming conventions. This helps reduce variations in your data, minimize potential duplicate records, and keep your database clean and consistent.
Importing Resumes with the Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant
The Premium AI Parser is also available through the Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant, making it easy to capture candidate information while working in your browser.
Simply drag and drop a resume into the AI Talent Assistant, and Crelate will automatically extract the relevant candidate information and prepare the Contact for you.
Premium AI Parser Credits
The Premium AI Resume Parser is available to all Crelate customers and uses AI credits.
This credit-based approach gives you flexibility to use AI-powered capabilities based on your needs. Available credit allotments allow you to try Premium AI parsing before committing to additional usage, with options to expand your AI credits as your needs grow.
The Standard Resume Parser remains unlimited, while each use of the Premium AI Resume Parser consumes available AI credits.
