Three things to set up so you can see how your organization is using AI credits.
AI credits are shared across your entire organization, so usage from any one user draws down the same pool. You do not need the full setup to get visibility. Start with these three steps, and add the rest when you need it.
1. Limit Enrichment By User Role
This is the only step that actively reduces credit usage rather than reporting on it. As an Admin, you control which users can use Contact Data Enrichment. Restricting the permission prevents users with that role from using the Enrich option in the Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant.
To change the setting:
Navigate to Security → User Roles.
Select the User Role you would like to manage.
Expand the Contacts section.
Locate Contact Data Enrichment.
Change the setting from Allowed to No for any roles that should not have access to enrichment.
2. Build a Contacts Dashboard
Contacts are usually the highest-volume record type, and Contact reports include a Source filter you can use right away. In Reports, create a Contact dashboard using single-value charts to track:
The total number of Contacts added
Contacts added through Crelate Discovery
Contacts added through the Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant
Activity broken down by individual user
Filter each chart by Source, and set Created On Date to your reporting timeframe, such as This Month:
Crelate Discovery: Source is Crelate Discovery Agent
Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant: Source is LinkedIn
3. Build a Companies Dashboard
Companies follow the same pattern as Contacts, so this step is quick once step 2 is in place. The one difference is the field name: use Company Source instead of Source when configuring your charts.
Crelate Discovery: Company Source is Crelate Discovery Agent
Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant: Company Source is LinkedIn
Your Company dashboard can track the total number of Companies added, Companies added through each tool, and Companies added by each individual user.
When You Need More
These three steps cover most of what an Admin needs to see AI credit usage month to month. The full guide, Monitoring Your AI Credit Usage, covers tracking Opportunities added through the Crelate Chrome AI Talent Assistant, which takes more setup because Opportunity reports do not yet include a Source filter. It walks through both approaches: applying a Tag or creating a Custom Picklist and Source field on your Opportunity forms.
Regularly reviewing these dashboards helps you understand how your team is using Crelate's AI-powered tools and makes it easier to decide how AI credits should be spent across your organization.
