You Asked, We Delivered

Based on valuable feedback, we are rolling out a series of updates over the next several weeks to enhance the experience with our Crelate Native eSignature feature. Stay tuned for regular updates on what is to come next!

New Enhancements

  • Placeholder Values

You can now add Placeholder Text to fields before sending an eSignature request. This allows you to provide guidance or instructions for the signer on what information should be entered into the field, while still allowing them to review and complete the field as needed.

  • Pre-Filled Fields

You can now use the Auto-fill option for Text fields to pre-fill information before sending an eSignature request.

When creating a new Text field, simply enable Auto-fill and select the new Text option.

You can then enter the text you would like to pre-fill in the pop-up window.

This information will be automatically applied to the field within the document when the eSignature request is sent to the signers.

  • Hyperlink Fields

You can now add URL links as hyperlinks within fields configured on eSignature requests, making it easier for signers to access relevant websites or resources directly from the document.

Please note: Hyperlinks become clickable once all signers have completed the signing process. Hyperlinks are not supported when pre-filling fields using the Auto-fill option. However, you can assign the field to the Sender and add the hyperlink before sending the eSignature request. The link will then become clickable once the signing process is complete.

Candidates can also access and click the hyperlink when viewing the completed, signed document.

  • Pre-Signature Cancellation

You can now cancel an eSignature request from a Checklist before it has been signed without affecting the status of the associated process item. This allows you to cancel an eSignature when needed while keeping the Checklist workflow intact.

Please note: This enhancement applies only to new eSignature requests initiated from a Checklist moving forward and will not apply retroactively to existing eSignature requests.

  • Date Fields

Date fields are now more consistently displayed to subsequent signers after they have been completed by a previous signer. This helps ensure that completed date information remains visible throughout the signing process.

Please note: This enhancement applies only to new eSignature requests moving forward and will not be applied retroactively to existing requests, including those that are currently In Progress.
