By default Crelate allows you to quickly search for a candidate by name using Google, LinkedIn and other Social Media Outlets. You can find the options on the contact record under Research Using:

This is done by loading a web page and passing the candidates information to the corresponding system. If you would like to add additional items you may do so by adding your own Search Using options. To do this follow these steps:

  1. As a Crelate Administrator, access the Settings area on the left

  2. Select Advanced Settings, then Other

  3. Under Custom Research URLs enter a new value

The Name field is what you would want it to be called.
    Example: GitHub

The URL field should be a valid URL, where you replace the name parameter with the token {name}.
    Example:
    https://github.com/search?q={name}+in%3Afullname&type=Users

  4. Click Save at the top of the menu and refresh your browser to see the new menu option.

Note: The actual URL and syntax of each service will be different.
