EEOC and OFCCP Compliance Tracking

This article will give a brief overview of how to use the tools in Crelate to help with your EEOC and OFCCP compliance tracking. This is a Business feature that helps collect, view and report on your compliance data.

Enabling EEOC

As an Admin, go to Settings | Compliance | Compliance Tracking

Toggle the switch to highlight the setting Enable EEOC on.

By turning EEOC on, you will be given options to also turn on OFCCP. Turning OFCCP on gives you the option to turn on VEVRAA. Having these settings on will present applicants with the option to fill out the appropriate survey once they finish applying.

Job Portal Classification

Once EEOC is on you have the option to add an EEOC Job Classification when publishing. This can help with EEOC reporting. The Job Classifications are based on the following list: EEO-1 Job Classification Guide

Upon successfully applying for a position on the portal, applicants will be presented with the EEOC (and if enabled, OFCCP and VEVRAA) survey(s).

The surveys are completely optional and does not prevent an individual from applying. The applicant can exit the survey at any time and can skip any question. Crelate will record which forms were presented to the applicant and whether they choose to decline the survey or answer.


Creating and Editing EEOC Survey Responses

Users with EEO Viewing and Editing privileges can view specific EEO Survey Responses and even create new ones in lieu of the candidate. You can view this data by going to a contact record, clicking the This Contact dropdown on the top and then selecting EEOC Details.

In the Compliance Form Dialog, users who have Edit permissions can edit the answers to existing forms or create new forms and fill it out on behalf of the candidate. Crelate will keep track and list who the last person, whether it was a user in the org or the applicant themselves, who edited or answered the question.

Giving Access to EEO Fields

Admins automatically have access to EEO fields by default. When EEOC is turned on a special role is created within the organization called the EEO User. This role has all the required permissions necessary to view/edit and process EEO Surveys and reports. This role can be assigned from the Users settings page.

Additionally, None/Read/Full access to EEO Fields can be directly configured on custom user role groups in the User Roles tab in the advanced Settings. The toggles to the EEOC Fields can be found under Misc.

The EEO Report

A generic EEOC Report will be pre-generated when the EEOC setting is turned on, however users can add, edit and configure the EEO reports as needed. For a full view on EEOC reports, we recommend viewing the EEOC report at the top of this article!
