In Crelate, “portal URL” can mean two things: the address of your Job Portal, and the Portal URL field you can set on each Job when you publish it. This article covers both.

Your Job Portal’s address

Your Job Portal is at https://jobs.crelate.com/portal/YOURORGNAME, replacing YOURORGNAME with your organization’s name. Share this address anywhere you want candidates to see all of your published Jobs.

The Portal URL field on a Job

Each Job on your portal has its own page. The Portal Url field adds a readable ending to that page’s address, which may help some search engines find and understand the Job.

Each Job’s page address looks like this:

jobs.crelate.com/portal/YOURORGNAME/JOBCODE/PORTAL-URL

The Job code cannot be changed. If you leave the Portal URL blank, the address ends with the Job code.

For example, for a Vice President of Sales Job, you might enter vice-president-sales.

Set a Portal URL

Open the Job and select Publish. The Publish Job window opens.
Complete Step 1: Job Details, and select Next.
On Step 2: Options, go to Advanced SEO Options.
In Portal URL, enter a short, descriptive ending for the address.
Select Publish.

For best results, keep the Portal URL short and descriptive. Use only letters and numbers, and separate words with dashes or underscores. What you enter is added to the end of the Job’s page address, so anyone can see it.
