Crelate Co-Pilot is an AI assistant built into your recruiting workflow. You type a question or instruction in your own words, and Co-Pilot responds in a chat. It is seamless and context-aware. Whether you are writing a job description, drafting an outreach email, or looking for a quick answer about a candidate or company, it is right there with you, reducing clicks and saving time.
What can Co-Pilot do?
Co-Pilot works where you already work in Crelate, so you can get help without leaving your records. Ask a question or give a command, with no training required.
Create content in seconds. Generate a job description tailored to a specific role, write a follow-up or outreach email, or draft a recruiting strategy.
Get answers from your records. Ask about a candidate’s status, a company’s history, or job details, and get answers pulled directly from your Crelate records.
Spend less time on repetitive tasks. Co-Pilot handles routine writing, so you can focus on building relationships and closing placements.
Co-Pilot uses a free-text chat, so there is no fixed menu of options. Type your request the way you would say it to a colleague.
How to turn on Co-Pilot
A Crelate Administrator must turn on Co-Pilot before anyone can use it. Agents must be enabled first, because the option to enable Co-Pilot is not available until they are.
Go to Settings > AI Agents > AI Agents Settings.
Enable Agents.
Complete the organization demographic information. Co-Pilot requires this information, which helps the AI generate more accurate and relevant responses.
Set Co-Pilot to Enabled.
Because Co-Pilot uses AI, results may contain mistakes or inaccuracies, so please review them before you use them. Co-Pilot is subject to the Crelate Co-Pilot Terms of Use. For details on how Co-Pilot uses your data and respects your privacy, see the Additional Product Terms.
How to open Co-Pilot
After Co-Pilot is enabled, open any record, such as a Contact, Company, or Job. Select Crelate Co-Pilot in the toolbar at the top right of the record, next to Client Portal.
You can also use the Co-Pilot icons next to fields on an Opportunity record, described below.
How many AI Credits does Co-Pilot use?
Co-Pilot uses AI Credits. Each prompt uses between 5 and 25 credits, depending on the complexity of the prompt. For more information, see Understanding AI Credits.

On the Opportunity Record, select the Strategy tab, then select the Co-Pilot icon next to the Recruiting Strategy field.
Generate a recruiting strategy.
Insert it into the field using the same options as for the job description.
Suggest target companies
On the Opportunity Record, select the Strategy tab, then select the Co-Pilot icon next to the Companies to Target field.
Select the arrow icon to generate the list, then review the suggested competing companies.
Add the companies you want to the Target Companies for the Opportunity.
How to load a previous Co-Pilot session
You can return to an earlier conversation with Co-Pilot instead of starting over. Sessions are saved automatically, and each session is named after the exact text you typed in your request. Your saved sessions are available from any record, whether it is a Contact, Company, or Job.
Open a record and select Crelate Co-Pilot at the top right.
In the Co-Pilot panel, select the magnifying glass icon at the top right.
In the Load previous session window, find the session you want. Each session is listed by name, with the date and time it was last updated. You can also use the search box to find a session.
Select the session. It appears under Selection.
Select OK to load it.
To change your choice, select Clear Selection. To close the window without loading a session, select Cancel.
Why use Co-Pilot?
Recruiting moves fast, and your tools should keep up. Co-Pilot removes friction from routine tasks, helps you communicate more clearly, and puts your data to work. Whether you are on your first cup of coffee or your final candidate call, it is there to help you move faster.
