About this Guide
This guide is designed to help Crelate System Administrators understand the potential user impact of an upcoming release of Crelate. The guide provides additional insights that Crelate System Administrators should be aware of. Crelate provides this guide ahead of scheduled releases to allow Crelate System Administrators time to prepare for and take advantage of new or changing system capabilities.
About Crelate Upgrades
All upgrades to Crelate are automatic, benefit all users, and typically require no user action. However, not all system upgrades are on by default. System Administrators may need to opt in or opt out of some new functionality. We know change can be disruptive, and we work hard to ensure System Administrators have the flexibility to control when new features are available to their teams.

Legacy Job Portal v1 Deprecation - Action Required
Impact | We're officially retiring Legacy Job Portal v1 on December 31, 2025. After this date, Job Portal v1 will no longer be available. |
Severity | High |
Applies To | Organizations that are still using Job Portal v1 |
Action Required | Upgrade to Job Portal v2 and update your website to link to the new Job Portal. See this article for help upgrading to v2. |
SKU | All |
Job Portal v1 has been in sunset mode for over two years. To ensure the best experience, we’re consolidating support and development around Job Portal v2, which includes all the same functionality as v1 and more, as well as ongoing enhancements. To give organizations plenty of time to upgrade their portals and websites, we announced that Job Portal v1 was being sunset over three years ago. Organizations that are still on the legacy portal will have their portal disabled at the end of this year.
API V1/V2 Sunset - Deprecated
Impact | Crelate’s legacy API v1 and v2 are being officially retired. All integrations must transition to API v3.
Public API v1/v2 will have enhanced throttling applied starting November 1st, 2025. |
Severity | High |
Applies To | All organizations and Marketplace Partners using Crelate API v1/v2 |
Action Required | Make sure any integrations are pointing to our API3 endpoints |
SKU | All |
Public API v1 and V2 have been in sunset mode for over two years. The legacy v1 and v2 APIs will be throttled starting on November 1st, 2025. All partners and developers should transition to v3 endpoints for both new and existing integrations as soon as possible. We know that transitions like this take time, which is why we started this sunset process over two years ago. Public API v3 reached feature parity with v1/v2 APIs in October of 2024. We will continue to support the Legacy API through December 31st, 2025, with enhanced rate limiting. Starting January 1, 2025, the endpoint will be disabled.
If you haven't already started your migration to v3, now is the time. Our v3 API Documentation can be found HERE.
