From the Checklist Template editor select Add Item | Onboarding Actions | Tax Forms | State Tax Forms
Note – Ensure that the Employee Profile Item is added to the Checklist template as the employee’s legal address information is required to set the correct State Forms.
Before initiating Onboarding regarding a specific ensure the Job’s Worksite has been added to the Company Record and set as the Default Worksite on the Job.
When this Checklist is used for onboarding the Employee you will see State W-4 as a Checklist Item.
After completing the Employee Profile and setting the required HR Data, the Employee can complete the State W-4:
In the Pop-Up they will be presented with a Wizard experience to ensure the proper forms are completed correctly.
Note – the forms they are required to complete will be dependent on the Address of the Employee in the Employee Profile they completed in Onboarding as well as the Worksite of the Job. State Forms can only be completed as part of the Onboarding Checklist within Crelate.
