We have a number of updates to come with our next major release this year and wanted to start with one of our highlighted feature improvements.

What's New?

The Chrome Extension icon now displays a visual indicator when viewing the profile of a contact whose record status or company record status is marked as "Do Not Use."

This applies to both newly added contacts and those that already exist in Crelate. We have also updated the wording when viewing the profile of a contact whose record or company record is associated with a "Do Not Use" record status.

Please note: the displayed record status name corresponds to the "Do Not Use" meaning within the Record Status field.

Visual Indicator of Field Updates

We have enhanced the visual indicator for updated fields when parse is selected. These fields will be displayed in a navy color with the respective icon.

New "Clear Form" Terminology

In the Chrome extension pane, the wording for the action previously labeled "Reset Form" has been updated to "Clear Form." When selected, all fields on the form will be emptied, with the exception of the Contact Photo.

Admin Impact Guide

This guide is designed to help Crelate System Administrators understand the potential user impact of an upcoming release of Crelate. The guide is a shortened version of our “What’s New” documentation and provides additional insights that Crelate System Administrators should be aware of. Crelate provides this guide ahead of scheduled releases to allow Crelate System Administrators time to prepare for and take advantage of new or changing system capabilities.

Each improvement includes a description of the impact and when available, administrative options available to minimize the impact on your users.

When viewing an existing contact through the Chrome Extension, it will immediately show the contact's most up-to-date information stored in Crelate. At this time, users will be provided with options to parse, enrich, or reset the form as needed.

When viewing a new contact in the Chrome Extension, it will now automatically parse the contact record information into the fields. This saves users on clicks while still giving them the ability to edit or clear the form before saving.
