By now, you may have noticed when importing spreadsheets, that Crelate offers the ability to Import as "Leads".
This is a great feature, however, it does have its quirks.
Importing as Leads will always create Contact Records. This means that this feature will only work if you are importing Lead Candidates. This will not work to import any Lead Opportunities you may have.
But what if I have Lead Opportunities that I want to import via spreadsheet?
No worries! We can accomplish this! You will just want to follow these simple steps below:
Create a "New Leads" Recruiting Workflow Stage
Set that Stage as an "In Progress" Stage Type
Import your Spreadsheet as Opportunities, not Leads
And that's it! You will now have all these newly imported Opportunities in your database as Leads!
