When creating a Contact, Opportunity, Company, or Placement, there may be some specific fields that you would like to require in order for the record to be created. Requiring fields will give you the ability to ensure specific fields are entered before the creation of the record. Required fields can be used on all core records and forms, with the exception of Data Import+, Crelate Connector, and the API.

**Please Note: When you navigate to an existing record after a required field has been enabled, you will not be able to update that record if the required fields haven't been completed**
