In our first phase of spreadsheet import enhancements we’ve added the ability to import and map directly to notes. Should you be looking to import a list of contacts with notes on Contact, Company, or Opportunity records, you may now directly map that to a note field which will appear in the contact activity feed.
Additionally, you may now choose a split value in cases where you may be importing multiple items in a single row. Say for instance you’re importing tags. You might be importing to a SKILLS category and, in a single row, a contact may have: Sales, Customer Service, and Customer Support. Customers may import all three as unique tags by using a split value of your choosing. Simply input a comma, semi colon and other values in between your different items to easily separate them when imported.
