What to look for if your DNS settings are not verifying

When setting up and adding entry records to your DNS there are several primary reasons as to why your DNS settings may not verify right away.

  1. Time - Many DNS providers can take 24-48 hours to propagate these changes. If your DNS doesn't verify right away, don't fret! It may simply need a bit of time in order to fully verify the new changes being made.

  2. Incorrect DNS record entry - There is one very common entry issue that can stem from how the records are named. As you'll see in the example below, the Name of the record is email.mydomain.com. Some DNS providers, such as Go Daddy for example, often add your domain without visibly displaying. Meaning, in that instance, you'll only need to add the Name = email
