Yes. Crelate can email a candidate automatically when they are moved to a workflow stage. This is popular for a stage such as Passed or Not Interested, and for the stage that rejected applications move to.
How does it work?
Each workflow stage can send an automatic email. The email is sent as soon as a candidate moves into the stage, whether you move them yourself or reject their application.
When you reject an application, Crelate moves the candidate to the first stage on the Job’s Recruiting Workflow with the stage type Done, Negative Outcome. Add the email to that stage to send a rejection email every time.
Set up an automatic rejection email
Select Settings, then Workflows, and then Recruiting Workflow.
Select the stage that rejected candidates move to, such as your first Done - Negative outcome stage or a stage named Passed.
Select Configure Rules for this Stage.
Select Send an Email Message.
Choose an existing template for this workflow, or create a new one by using the plus sign.
Save the stage.
You cannot use a template from My Templates. Workflow emails use their own template type. For the template fields and who the email is sent from, see Automatic Workflow Emails.
💡 Pro Tip: Keep your rejection email general, such as thanking the candidate and inviting them to apply for future roles. Every candidate moved to that stage receives it, including candidates you move there manually.
