You can now drag and drop resumes directly into the Chrome Extension to either attach a resume to an existing Contact record or parse the resume to automatically populate the contact fields before saving the Contact in Crelate.

To attach a resume to an existing Contact, open the Resume tab at the bottom of the Chrome Extension. To upload a resume, drag and drop the file into the extension or click the upload area to browse your device and select a file. After the upload is complete, the resume will be available within the extension. Select Update to attach the resume to the Contact's record in Crelate.

To create a new Contact from a resume, select the Resume tab and drag and drop the resume into the extension or click within the upload area to browse your files and select a resume from your device. After the resume has been uploaded, select Parse Fields to extract the information from the resume and populate the corresponding fields in the extension.

The parsed information is not automatically saved to Crelate, allowing you to review and edit the fields as needed before saving the new Contact. Once you have reviewed and made any necessary edits to the parsed fields, select Update to attach the resume and save the Contact Record in Crelate with the parsed field values.

Note: The Attach Resume option is only available for existing Contacts or after a new Contact has been saved to Crelate. The Parse Fields option is only available when creating a new Contact that does not already exist in your Crelate database.

You can also create Activities for your Contacts directly within the Chrome Extension by navigating to the Activity tab and selecting the desired Activity type. The Activity form will open using the same configurations available in Crelate, allowing you to create and manage Activities without leaving the extension or interrupting your workflow.

After creating the Activity and selecting Save, the Activity will automatically sync to Crelate and appear in the Activity Stream on the associated Contact's record.

Shared Email Templates, as well as your personal Email Templates available in Crelate, can also be accessed directly from the Chrome Extension and used across your recruiting workflow, including messaging platforms, social media sites, email inboxes, and other communication tools.

Simply select the desired template, and the template content will automatically be copied to your clipboard, allowing you to paste it wherever needed.

This feature makes it easy to take your Crelate templates with you and quickly access your saved messaging content wherever your workflow takes you.

The Chrome Extension also integrates with Gmail, allowing you to access and manage Contacts in your Crelate database directly from your inbox.

When you open an email in Gmail, the extension automatically checks whether the sender already exists in your Crelate database. From there, you can open the Contact's record, log an Activity, or insert an email template with the Contact's information automatically populated, all without leaving your inbox.

The Chrome Extension now provides an enhanced duplicate detection experience, allowing Contacts to be more accurately matched with existing records in your database using matching criteria during the discovery process.

As you discover Contacts, the Chrome Extension automatically flags potential duplicate matches by comparing the Contact's information against existing records in your database. This helps reduce duplicate records while still giving you the flexibility to save the Contact as a new record when appropriate.

When a Contact is matched to an existing record but does not have a website URL associated with their profile, you will have the option to Link URL.

Once the URL has been linked, you can continue to edit and manage the Contact directly within the extension.
