Discovery Agent Best Practices

We are excited to announce the release of our Agent-Based Discovery Chat with our new AI Discovery feature! With this chat functionality, this will enable customers to discover Crelate’s database of 800M profiles, using advanced AI to help curate and rank the best candidates for a job.

The Agent-Based Discovery Chat provides access to a live, AI-refreshed network of over 1 billion professional profiles that you can search, view, and enrich into your system as needed.

This will also include AI-curated company database of over 20 million organizations, enriched with contact data, firmographics, and business signals.

To begin using the Agent-Based Discovery Chat, an Admin will first need to enable this within the Settings. You will want to navigate directly to Basic Setup | AI Agents and Assistants and then select the option for "Enabled" to enable Crelate AI Agents and Assistants to turn this feature on.

You will then be prompted to fill out all of the required fields below to complete this step of enabling the AI Discovery Agent.

Of note: You will want to ensure these fields are filled out as accurately as possible for your organization. When chatting with the AI Discovery Agent, these fields can be incorporated for instances where the Agent may need more information to curate the best matches for you based on what you are typing in!

Once enabled, to access the Discovery chat, you can navigate to "All Areas" and even pin the Discovery tool directly to your Navigation Bar for easy access.

Our Discovery Agent was designed with you in mind! We have included the ability to launch the Agent directly from a Contact record or a Job's Dashboard in order to provide fast contextually aware results! The Agent will provide smart suggestions that are truly your own based on information from your Crelate like who you've placed, which clients you engage with, and more. With just a single click!

Launch the Discovery tool directly from a Contact's record and the agent will run an evaluation of their description, job title, characteristics, and more to quickly rediscover strong candidates. If you have ever wished you had "five more people like this" now you can. Those hard to fill roles, just got easier.

Looking for candidates to fill a specific role? Launch the Discovery tool directly from the Job's Dashboard and the agent will find your perfect match. This Context-Aware tool is going to adapt based on your teams unique history, patterns, and behaviors inside Crelate. Custom results delivered based on your past searches, placements, and more.

Similar to the option to access the Discovery tool from within a job dashboard, this feature will also be available within your Business Development Opportunity workflows by selecting the option for "Crelate Discovery Agent".

Simply use the Discovery agent chat box to look for candidates based on the criteria you are specifically targeting to populate a curated list of results to match you with the best candidates.

Once you have generated your initial chat within the Discovery chat agent, you will see below the automated Discovery Criteria pulled directly from your chat. These will also include additional filtering options for Job Title, Skills, Experience, Education, Location, and many more!

From here, you can make adjustments to your query and add other criteria to be most relevant to the talent you are seeking. You can also use the re-chat option to allow the tool to automatically update the results based on your additional chat with our Discovery agent!

The agent will seek to understand your data in order to recommend better people. Give our agent the most information by ensuring the job description field and strategy tab is filled in. These areas will allow the tool to target or avoid specific companies in order to surface relevant results. Making the most information available to the agent will result in the best discovery experience.

The agent will also indicate when contacts are already in your database. If the contact or their current company are in a "Do Not Use" status, they will be filtered out of view by default. This can be turned off if desired.

You can then use the options within the results of your strongest candidates to add them directly to a job in your database by selecting the "Add" button.

You can also use the selection at the top to pre-select an Opportunity you wish to add multiple Contacts to so that it will automatically generate that specific Opportunity when selecting the "Add" button.

You can even add the candidates in your results to a List within your Crelate by using the dropdown available next to each candidates' information!
