Crelate's Zoom Phone Integration enables you to easily make calls to your contacts while ensuring each communication is documented right within the Contact's record!
What you'll need
You will need a Zoom Phone account and privileges to add the Crelate Zoom Phone app to your Zoom account.
Steps to enable
Login to Crelate
Navigate to Manage your Profile & Preferences
Select Integrations
Find the Zoom option and click Link your Zoom Account
Review the requested permissions and click Allow to enable Crelate to read data from Zoom.
Sign into Zoom if prompted. Note: If you are already signed into Zoom this screen may not display.
Review the requested permissions and click Allow to enable Crelate to read data from your Zoom account.
The integration is now enabled from call logging.
Optional: Enable the Zoom Phone Widget by selecting Enable UI Widget. The widget is a web-based control that lets you send and recieve calls within the Crelate application.
Note: The UI Widget is NOT required for server-to-server call logging.
Note: If the widget does not display, you may need to refresh your browser. The widget may also be "collapsed".
Log into the widget using your Zoom credentials and follow the on screen instructions.
Note: The Zoom Phone widget requires an physical or virtual phone in order to work.
If you see this message, simply install and sign into the Zoom virtual phone or another Zoom enabled device.
Using Zoom Phone Integration
Once added to Crelate, the Zoom softphone will appear. This can be used to place and receive phone calls from Contacts. Texting from Crelate via Zoom is not supported.
To place a call
1. Open a Contact you wish to call
2. Click the telephone icon next to the Contact’s phone number.
3. The Zoom widget will open and be filled in with the phone number.
4. Click Call in the widget to place the phone call using the Zoom app.
To receive a phone call
1. Using another phone, call the phone number associated with the linked Zoom account. Answer the phone call using the Zoom phone widget.
Removing Zoom Phone
In the Crelate hamburger menu on the top left, select Manage Your Profile & Preferences
Select Integrations
Under the Zoom section in the Integrations pane, set Enabled Integration to Off
The Zoom integration is now disabled, and Crelate will no longer use it until reenabled.
Note: Disabling the UI Widget instead merely hides the widget while still keeping Crelate connected to the linked Zoom account
